Tech Club Ed Tech
Katie Dewey Hill:
I'm looking forward to working with students in our Tech Clubs. I taught at Brookwood for four years from 2008-2012 before becoming the Education Technology Specialist for the school. Brookwood is a special place for me. I had taught in years previous to joining the Brookwood faculty but it was in this building I learned to love teaching.
Technology is cool, but I believe that helping students learn to "look under the hood" of that amazing program or device can open the door to developing important skills and interests that will help them to become successful college and/or career-ready citizens. We are going to start off our club by learning some coding basics and creating some great things.
